HUGE HS Football News!

San Diego Surge star DL and 2013 US Women's National Football Team Gold Medalist Knengi Martin has been named head coach at San Diego High School effective two days ago following the resignation of the previous coach. Per Cal-Hi Sports, Martin is the only current female head coach of a HS football program in California and one of the few in the country. No word on why the previous coach left the Cavers.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
