Ryder Cup 2014

Post by tribe_pride »

After morning ball, US up in a surprise 2.5 to 1.5 over Europe.

US rookies Spieth and Reed with the easiest win for the Americans winning 5 &4 against Gallacher and Poulter

Fowler and Walker win 2 of the last 3 holes to overcome a 2 hole deficit with 3 holes to go to halve their match against Bjorn and Kayner

Mickelson and Bradley with the 1 up upset over Garcia and McIlroy by winning 2 of the last 3 holes after being down 1 with 3 to go

Only US loss was by B. Watson and Simpson to Rose and Stenson 5 & 4

In afternoon session at this point, Europeans are up 1 in 2 matches and even in the 3rd that has gone off. Final match hasn't completed a hole yet

The US team is proving itself to be way overpaid and immensely underqualified for this level of competition.

I just found out Tiger wasn't picked for the team. No wonder we're getting our asses kicked! :dunce:

Is this the same Tiger Woods who has a 13-14-2 Ryder Cup record?

And earlier I probably should have said they are supported by sponsors and offered the opportunity to play and win far more money than they are worth.

The market is free to be what it is just as I am free to express an opinion. Unlike the lefties of the world I just expressed an opinion not a suggestion for legislation and rules and regulations.

Racist!
I'm not the racist. The 14 guys who beat him with a golf club were the racists. Not to mention his former spouse.
