I call bullshit. This story started with a St. Louis reporter who is an idiot and should have been fired a long time ago for starting these kinds of rumors.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has informed the three eligible teams there will be no team in L.A. in 2015, according to league sources.

You waited THIS long to post that, 89? That came out over the weekend. And it's not the end of the story. The Rams could easily wait until 2016, or they could force Goodell's hand by moving to LA WITHOUT his stinking permission, a la the Dolts....

Yeah, sorry I waited a day to find this thread and call you out. You said it was a done deal. The Rams are using this opportunity to get a new stadium in St Louis.

If that's the case, 89, why are Rams fans (not to mention the freaking GOVERNOR) in the StL flipping out? And why does the owner have land in Hollywood Park big enough for a stadium and a parking lot?

Because that's how the game is played. The NFL and the owners dangle the carrot of moving to LA and the hometown caves and builds a new stadium. You were just a kid (still are) when the NFL started using LA as bait. You should however remember when the Vikings did it:

1. A ban from moving to LA in 2015 says NOTHING about 2016 and beyond.

2. What's to actually prevent a team from thumbing their nose at Goodell and moving anyway? It's happened before. It could happen again.

So this gives California it's 4th NFL team. 2 of which are (San Fran & Oakland) are 20 miles apart.

Meanwhile, LA has 7 professional teams? The relocation of the Rams takes that up to 8. That's a lot of pro sports in one place.
