I agree about Daunte but Moss screwed, everything up by destroying the chemistry between these two.But as stated before when they were on the same page they were unstoppable!!!! Don't forget Manning to Harrison or Garcia to Owens!!!!

When adjusted for lack of technology 1966 Bart Starr to Caroll Dale was easily the best. Heck, everything was in black and white back then and harder to see!

Are you guys serious that Montana - Rice haven't been mentioned? Talk about an omission. Arguably one of the game's best QB's ever & the best WR without question in the history of the game.

You sure that Herber/Isbell to Hutson wasn't better than Starr to Dale?

Anyone to Hutson, he set the standard that Jerry Rice broke.

Imagine Baugh to Hutson that would have set the standard for all QB/WR combos in modern football.

A great QB/WR combo down the road Rodgers to Jeff Janis.Once this small school speed demon 6-3 210 4.32 (40) connects with Rodgers they are going to turn the league on its ear.

How 'bout the only two-quarterback system that ever worked in the NFL?
Waterfield/Van Brocklin with receivers Fears and Hirsch? And that doesn't even factor in their full-house backfield of Hoerner, Younger, and Vitamin "T" Smith?
The result? Only the most prolific offense in the history of the game, in an era that mostly eschewed the pass as a "desperation" move.
In 1950 alone, with a 9-3 record, the Rams scored 38.8 ppg, passed for over 3,500 yards (only 12 games, mind you), and added over 1,700 on the ground. Some of the single-game pass-run comparisons are amazing (such as Week 9's 370 yards passing and 266 on the ground against the inept New York Yanks. Thirty-one TDs in just 12 games is mind-blowing. Even more amazing is the yards-per-completion: for Waterfield, it was 16.2, and for van Brocklin, it was 12.6. Heck, Waterfield gained 8.8 yards every time he cocked his arm (counting incompletions and picks), and van got 7.2.
That's a pretty prolific offense, particularly in an era when people mainly tried to jam the ball down your throat....
