Harbaugh Trade?!?

Rumors are flying that the 49ers will attempt to trade Head Coach Jim Harbaugh VERY soon, with the Raiders and Jets the leading contenders.
There are several problems with that idea. First is that the possibility that the 49ers might make the playoffs could complicate matters. Second is the VERY distinct possibility that Harbaugh might bolt on his contract to take the Michigan job that will be open as soon as Brady Hoke is fired. If he's traded, and THEN he flees for Ann Arbor, would the 49ers get to keep the draft picks they get for him? Whoever makes THAT trade would scream bloody murder if the League allowed that. I really think there would be a valid argument that the trade was not consummated, so the picks can't go over.
The one thing that NOBODY has thought to do is to ask Harbaugh what his plans for next season are. Of course, he'll likely be tight-lipped about that until after THIS season is over.
Things are VERY convoluted here....
