They might have the running game to utilize him like Russell but I'm not sure he's as smart or as accurate.

Russell does have the advantage of knowing his defense will be there to always keep the game within reach. I like Russell a lot, but don't discount the advantage he has of playing with that defense.

He also has a heckuva running game to take the pressure off...

:tothehand: He hasn't fathered any kids yet. No reason it can't be fatal.

I'm rooting for Johnny Football to succeed - the guy is entertaining. Yeah, he's a pompous ass, but if my criteria was that I don't watch events with pompous people in them then I'd sell my tv and just read books for entertainment - screw sports and Hollywood if that was the case.

Stop being so callous. White lives matter.

I don't want my athletes to be humble. Was Muhammad Ali humble? Was Rickey Henderson humble? Was Deion Sanders humble? I hope Johnny kicks ass & takes names on Sunday.

I'm with the PA Blue Hen brothers. I hope he does well - it can only serve to make the NFL more entertaining.

Indeed. I don't know if I ever saw a QB play that poorly. Ever. I don't know how you put him back on the field again.

Robertson wins 2014 Walter Payton Award
By Craig Haley, FCS Executive Director/Senior Editor

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - If there was an award Villanova quarterback John Robertson was associated with during the regular season, it was CAA offensive player of the week. He claimed the honor an incredible six times.

Monday night, Robertson's legacy grew into FCS history as he won the 28th Walter Payton Award, which honors the outstanding player in the division. The redshirt junior received the Heisman of the FCS at The Sports Network FCS Awards Banquet and Presentation.

What's that have to do with Johnny Douchebag? Weak ass trolling attempt. FWIW, congrats to JR. Everyone knows if VA hadn't been injured, he would've won in a landslide. :coffee:

I watched RObertson play parts of three different games. Dude couldn't hit water if he fell out of a fucking boat. Must not have had as good of receivers as VA.

Yeah, that's why he had the highest passing efficiency in FCS and a 67% completion percentage.
