The Texas Revolution of the Indoor Football League, led by GM Tim Brown (yes, THAT Tim Brown), has made news once again. A year or so ago, they signed US Women's National Football Team LBer/S Dr. Jen Welter as a running back. Now, they've brought her back as LBers/Special Teams Coach.
Look for Texas' defensive play to improve now that Dr. Welter is back where she's been trained....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
