Great American Race is today. :thumb:

Kyle Busch out indefinitely after suffering compound fracture to right lower leg and mid-foot fracture after running head-on into a section of concrete inner wall during yesterday's Xfinity series race.

Why Daytona still has a single square inch of wall without SAFER barrier system is mind numbing. :ohno:

Gordon's last season. Hope he grabs a title this year. The number of titles he's been screwed out of with the shit point systems they've changed too sucks.

I need a new driver to follow going forward.

State your case here.

Agreed. Daytona track president:
""The Daytona International Speedway did not live up to its responsibility today," Chitwood said. "We should have had SAFER barrier there. We're going to fix that. We're going to fix that right now.".."

Now no Busch brother will be racing for awhile. Kurt Busch suspended indefinitely..

"DOVER, Del. – A Delaware judge who ordered NASCAR driver Kurt Busch to stay away from his ex-girlfriend says there's a "substantial likelihood" of Busch committing acts of domestic violence in the future.

In a 25-page opinion Friday explaining why he issued the no-contact order this week, the judge said it was more likely than not that Busch "manually strangled" Patricia Driscoll in his motorhome at Dover International Speedway in September and smashed her head into a wall.

Busch has denied the alleged assault, which is the subject of a separate criminal investigation, but the judge said Driscoll's version of events was more credible than Busch's.

At the same time, however, the judge said he believed that Driscoll presented false testimony at times during the hearing on her request for the no-contact order."

 I guess NASCAR stock cars aren't high on the resale market list.

They found the car on the grassy shoulder of a road. Truck also located elsewhere. Trailer, tools, and $100k engine still missing.

Hope this doesn't completely derail Kvapils race team. They were a small operation.

I'm not a die hard NASCAR guy but I want a guy to back.

Like I said, Hamlin seems like a cool guy form his interviews.

I want a guy that will be decent though. I cheer for losers in every other sport (Vikings, Twins, Clippers/T'wolves, Red Wings/Wild...Wings are usually pretty good though)...I want to be a front runner for once.

22 (likely 23) straight playoff appearances and 11 Stanley Cups? Yeah, I'd say the Wings are decent. ;)
