This offseason seriously and truly could not be any worse. :(

Can't fault a guy for retiring due to health concerns, but...wow.

The Niners are just in rough shape this offseason. They lost big time and a bunch of this is not even their fault with 3 surprising retirements of very good players. Assume they are likely 4th place in the NFC West.

These guys are not crazy to risk their health he probably heard the story of Bill Romanowski not remembering his home address.

And there's still plenty of people out there who think this whole football concussion "thing" will amount to nothing. A decision like this by such a high profile player has to be setting off alarm bells in NFL offices.

The lawsuits are not finished...when they start impacting high schools, junior highs, and the younger camps, football participation will dwindle as organizations withdraw themselves from possible exposure to financial responsibility.
