With Alex Rodriguez's return to the Yankees, he has a chance to move up various all-time charts
Games Played: Currently 44th, could move as high as 27th
At-Bats: Currently 32nd, 400 At-Bats would put him at 23rd
Plate Appearances: Currently 27th, 500 would put him at 20th
Runs Scored: Currently 11th, 4 behind Jetah. Can easily hit top 8, top 7 in reach
Hits: Currently 32nd, needs 82 to crack top 25
Doubles: Currently 48th, Top 40 in reach
Home Runs: Currently 5th, needs 7 to pass Willie Mays
RBI's: Currently 6th, needs 28 to move into 4th
Base on Balls: Currently 53rd, needs 16 to crack top 50

To the old-school, traditionalist, he does not exist on these list with real heroes like Hank Aaron, Roger Maris, Willie Mays etc.

Why not? He might be the most hated person in MLB right behind Joe Buck and some other announcer I cannot remember. Him doing something special, makes me smile.

I'm not an old school, traditionalist. I think every single one of his records should be wiped from the books

Then you might as well wipe a shit ton of other hitters and pitchers over 30 years.
Not to quote Tosh or Burr or any number of comedians....but, if I am going to sit through a MLB game it had better be full of the best players science can deliver.
I want 105 mph fastballs.
I want a shit-ton of guys to hit 50 plus HR's a season with a few to hit 70+
I want a guy to steal 100 bases.
I want pitchers to actually pitch a game and not be happy with 5 1/3 innings.
I want the catcher to block the plate and take a charge on a play at the plate.
These 5 things is why I don't watch baseball. Also, the game is slower than golf, tennis, and paint drying combined.

Given the state of managing today, even the top 'roided-up guy will never steal 100 bases. Too many managers are playing Bogus Bochy Ball.
That said, I yearn for the days of the complete game as SOP vice novelty. I yearn for catchers blocking the plate a la Johnny Bench. I have no problems with having a power hitter or two or three, but I have a HUGE problem with the ubiquitous sit-and-wait-for-the-jack attitude that is prevailing today (thanks to that idiot Bochy). I don't mind a guy throwing a zillion miles an hour, but you're not going to get many homers off of that unless a guy has lucky timing. But NO 'ROIDS!

Roids is like using a shot gun with the plug out for bird hunting or an automatic weapon for big game hunting. Best science can deliver.

Incorrect analogy.
With both pitchers and batters using roids, it was a level playing field that MLB exploited

Perfect scenario - Yankees suck, A-Rod does well.

Not all pitchers nor all batters used roids, only a few hundred sneaky bastyards. Just like hunting, a few hundred sneaky bastyards poach and hunt illegally. Humans cheating in both cases.

Not like hunting, where the majority follow the rules.

Then A-Rod must be anti-gay marriage, because one of this supporters is.

Doesn't everyone have a mancrush on A-Rod?
I'd bet more than 50% of MLB players used an illegal PED during their career.
