2015 Masters

Once again, ESPN spends half an hour blowing a certain golfer who hasn't won this tournament in 12 years. A golfer who's gone 26 majors without a win. A certain golfer who had to cheat in 2013 to finish 4th. A golfer who either didn't play in or has missed the cut in 6 of the last 15 majors.

They need to do some affirmative action for all the non-Cablanasion golfers.

A certain golfer who increases ratings dramatically. A certain golfer who if he didn't get injured would have 25 majors by now. :coffee:

A certain golfer who if he hadn't done steroids wouldn't have a brittle body and get injured so often.

Have to go with Rory, who is trying to complete a lifetime Grand Slam.

ESPN ain't dumb. Only reason alot of people will tune in is to see if Tiger can make a comeback. Maybe not win, but maybe just to contend until Sunday. That's the only reason I'll pay attention. Otherwise I couldn't care less about watching a bunch of faggots frolic their way around a golf course.

I think Tiger's knee or back blow out and he doesn't make the cut or withdraws.

Pretty clear that's what's going on here.

It was cool to watch the replay of 75 year old Nicklaus get a hole in one on #4 in the par three tourney. :thumb:

Would you have even started a thread on the Masters this year if ESPN wasn't doing that coverage on that certain golfer? Love him or hate him, apparently focusing on him makes people notice and makes them respond as you have done. If people wouldn't care about him, positively or negatively, they wouldn't show him like they do.

Jordan Spieth, aka The Great White Hope, at -5 through 11. :notworthy:

Spieth at -8 through 14 with another Par 5 to play. Course record is -9 (63) by Price and Norman.

Els at -6 through 17, Mickelson at -2 (done), McIlroy -1 (done), and Woods +2 through 12.

Cut is top 50 and all within 10 of the lead (which will likely be top 50 and ties if Spieth doesn't choke tomorrow). Woods right now in a big tie for 54th at +2. +1 is 42nd place

And Woods is lucky to be where he is now. He's been flirting with disaster all day. I forget the hole (10 maybe?) where he ricocheted off pine trees twice onto the fairway. Could have easily been double bogey or worse.

Looks like Spieth choked on the 15th and bogeyed a Par 5 that is averaging 4.65 - 1 of only 10 golfers not to at least par the hole. Rebounded to come in par, par, birdie to finish at -8 (64). About to be 2 up over Day when Day puts in an easy inches putt on 16.

So CBS Sports Minute on the radio yesterday said that Tom Watson and Bubba Watson being tied at -1 proves that golf is not a sport because no sport can have a 65 year old competing. I was trying to think of a witty reply to that and all of a sudden I had a moment of clarity.... why is it so important that we define what is and isn't a sport? Baseball is not football. Basketball is not hockey. Soccer is not WWE... well, it's close. Who gives a shit? :dunce: :tothehand:
