In terms of local big-league team broadcasting: the Raiders naming Beth Mowins play-by-play announcer? Or the Charlotte Hornets making Stephanie Ready the color analyst?

FYI, it looks like the Ready hiring is permanent, while Mowins' gig is just for the pre-season, as the Raiders look as if they'll revert to simulcasting Greg Papa's radio broadcast once the regular season starts. Dumb, IMO. I've never liked Papa's style....

Neither is big, and thankfully neither is in Philadelphia, so I won't have to listen to their sub-par, affirmative action EEO high-pitched voices. If I want to hear a chipmunk I'll watch a fucking Disney cartoon.
