In June, Arizona Cardinals rookie running back David Johnson visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the NFL Rookie Symposium.

As he took in the history of the sport, Johnson thought about himself someday -- in the distant future -- taking a place among the NFL's greats. The future has come two weeks into the season for Johnson.

A signed game jersey and Johnson's shoes from his historic performance in Arizona's 48-23 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday will be on display at the Hall of Fame, Johnson said Monday.

"It's a great feeling," Johnson said.

The historic game began on the opening kickoff, which Johnson returned 108 yards for a touchdown.

It was the longest kickoff return and play in Cardinals history.

It tied for the second-longest kickoff return in NFL history.

Later in Sunday's game, Johnson scored on a 13-yard carry, which marked the first time in NFL history that a rookie has scored rushing, receiving and kickoff-return touchdowns in the first two games of his career. It was also the first time since 1958 that a Cardinals player scored on a kickoff return and a rushing touchdown in the same game.

Johnson's accomplishment was one of the first things Cardinals coach Bruce Arians mentioned during his Monday press conference.

"Anytime you mention the words ‘history of the game' is pretty impressive," Arians said. "With David being the first in the history of the game with his three touchdowns and Larry (Fitzgerald) with his place in the history of the game is very special.

"You always want to take time when something like that happens and acknowledge it because ‘history of the game' is a damn long time and a lot guys so it's very special."

And now watch the Seahawks lose to them (Bears). This season has not been a kind one so far. :ohno:
