I'm done.

I allowed myself to get swept up into the hype this week following the Redskins win over the Rams. I knew better. But I let it happen to me anyway. I listened to 980am all week. This team was different they said. They won running the ball and on sound defense, Morris had help in the new running back rookie. The o-line had finally arrived. The defense was flying around. Cousins wasn't great, but made minimal mistakes and could move in the pocket, unlike Robert, they said.
Well, FUCK YOU REDSKINS!
I was excited about last nights game.
Rushed home from soccer practice and was ready for it to kick off.
First series, punt almost blocked! Whew, that was close, lets re-do. BLOCKED! Safety. Interception, touchdown. Down 0-9 in the first half of the 1st quarter.
Did I say this yet? FUCK YOU REDSKINS!!!!
I'm done with the fucking NFL already this season. Assholes!
I shut it off and went to bed. Occasionally checking my phone for score updates. Nothing lured me back. I watched Intervention and cried myself to sleep.

You and every single Redskins fan. You guys NEVER learn and it's awsome to listen to on sports talk radio. It all started wtih Heath Shuler and the revolving door of QB's and coaches. Then Spurrier came along and he was your savior. Then Gibbs 2.0, then Shanny, then RG3....

The Eagles may not have the rings, but your rings are so tarnished now I might not want them.

I know. I have laughed every year for the last 10 or so years at the idiots who call into to DC radio stations after one win. But I took the whole hook this year.
I could hear a little voice in my head yesterday saying. The Skins just won big. The Giants are 0-2. You know better Andy, you know what is going to happen tonight.

Or your voice could have reminded you that the Skins were something like 3-13 vs the Gints in the last 8 years, and 4-17 in prime time games, and...

Meh. Giants are "the best" 0-2 team. They should have been 2-0 and now 3-0. Don't beat yourself up too bad...but you should have known better about the Redskins. They fucking suck.

If you're looking for a new football team to root for, might I suggest the Blue Hens?

I've seen the Redskins play 3 times and they won each game. Regular season vs Vikings, Playoff vs Vikings and Super Bowl against Buffalo.

I was with you almost step-by-step. Except that the local radio stations here were saying how the Rams looked so good beating the Seahawks in week 1, but lost to the terrible Redskins in weak 2. This stoked my fire. Who the hell are these Rams fans saying that the Rams were so superior to the Redskins? I was hyped up to watch the Skins show these dorks that they are for real.
My shoe does not taste good.

At least you're not 0-2 and a loss away from mass suicides.
Philadelphia will be "unpleasant" Sunday night if the Eagles don't get going.

He should forgive the Santa Claus snowball thrower, thus lifting the Superbowl curse.
