An "honest mistake?!?"

Aqib Talib is a piece of work if there ever was one. During an altercation last night between teammate Von Miller and an Indy OL, Talib insinuated himself into the situation to poke the Colt in the eye. After the game, he tried to explain it all away as a "slip," because he'd intended to poke the dude in the head. Who does that?!?
Do we have another Suh on our hands?

Seriously, how is that hit on Bridgewater not even flagged? Goodness, if that was Tom Brady or Payton Manning not only would there have been a penalty called, but the player would've been ejected and there'd probably have been an arrest as well. Just another brutal reminder about the gulf in the treatment of certain QB's versus every other QB in the NFL.

Don't make that global on the Rams, Jon. Their Special Teams Coordinator is as clean as they come. I should know. He was my teammate at UOP....

I am making it global. The Rams coaching staff, from Jeff Fischer on down, have a reputation as being dirty. If your teammate is part of the Fischer/Williams staff, then he is dirty as well, because that is what Fischer preaches to his coaching staff.

This.
Following yesterday's Vikings win over the St. Louis Rams, Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer had some pointed words about "cheap shots" that were supposedly being taken by the Rams players. Today, Zimmer mentioned that it was "more than one hit" that had upset him from the game.
Today, we have video of a former player discussing the same tactics used by prior Jeff Fisher coached teams.
