Yeah… because we all know the Seahawks beat an Arizona team that was really playing for something, and it's not like Seattle lost to the Rams at home a week ago.
Seattle has shown they're capable of being quite good, but they've also shown they're capable of being quite bad. They're the lowest seed in the playoffs for a reason.

Cardinals had more to play for than the Hawks.

Not really. It would have been the 1% chance that Tampa Bay could beat Carolina. Seattle needed a win and a GB win (almost happened) to get the #5 seed.

The last team in the league the Cardinals want to face on their way to the super bowl is Seattle
and that is just a fact
My guess is Seattle goes to Phoenix in three weeks

meh, we beat you once, we will beat you again.
Now, don't think for a minute we aren't pleased that to play us (other than the Cardinals needing a win, of course) is that Seattle has to:
1) Travel to Minnesota and play outdoors in zero degree temps
2) Turn around and travel to play Carolina and Cam
3) Turn around and come back to Phoenix.
If Seattle makes it to the Super Bowl, I will tip my cap to them, because they will have earned it.

We had zero % chance to make the playoffs according to you.
Green Bay was a 1000000% lock to be a top 2 seed

First I want to say that the Vikings and Panthers scare the shit out of me, so if Seattle gets by them, I am fairly confident they win the super bowl.
However, I think this is the thread to finally put some thoughts down as to the Hawks' scheduling this year. The NFL clearly is trying to block them from another super bowl due to playing the most games after the other team's bye week and now a 10am playoff game. Seriously, I will be more impressed if Seattle wins the super bowl this year than the year they actually won it.
On to the game itself, I really think it comes down to minny's front 4 vs. seattle's oline. If the oline can give wilson time to throw, the Vikings will be fighting an uphill battle the entire game.
Go Hawks!

So rivaling the infamous Ice Bowl I see Sunday's temps will max out somewhere between -1 and 1.

You missed the rushing stats that were a big part of each players' game.
Wilson - 103 for 553 yards (5.4 average) and 1 TD with 31 of the rushes going for a 1st down (31% for either TD or first down)
Newton - 132 for 636 yards(4.8 average) and 10 TDs with 56 of the rushes going for a 1st down (50% for either TD or first down)

My son in law from Nebraska always says "we" when referring to the Nebraska Corn Packers.
Noticed at the end of the Green Bay/Biqueens game Sunday night they seemed to take turns trying to lose the game to each other.

People that get upset over the use of "we" when referring to sports teams need to get a life.
