Poor Lions. First Barry Sanders, now Calvin Johnson. Does Detroit really suck that bad? (rhetorical  )

Yes. And I'm a Lions fan, as much as I can be. Actually seems like a good thing for the team, because his cap hit next year was immense.

In fairness though, I think the Lions have won the same number of Super Bowls as the Iggles. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, our last NFL title was 1960, trumping your last NFL title of 1957. So there. :tothehand:

One gigantic contract... which I think he lived up to
and too many years as the primary target over the middle

In his prime he was amazing !!

And the Browns (not a fan of but more for amusement purposes) have you both with the NFL Title in 1964 - the last title of any kind for a Cleveland professional sports franchise.

Not the current Browns though. And nobody can touch the Lions for ineptness in the Super Bowl era. Zero appearances in the Super Bowl, only non-expansion team that can make that claim. One playoff win since 1957. Top that bitches!!!!
