I'm calling it right now...

I am guessing the Chiefs will win the AFC West but the Raiders will be much better than they have been in recent years.

I'm inclined to think the Chiefs will be about the same
But with one less win

and the Raiders - to me look like 11-5 right now

I just looked at their schedule. Barring significant injuries, they could go 13-3. And it's not because of the Raiders. It's because of the opponents.

You guys seem to forget Denver still rules the division, Raiders will get a wild card and the Chefs fight the Chargers for the cellar ..

Yeah, because there haven't been any offseason personnel changes for the Broncos or anything.

Denver has proven that they do not need an offense to win games...

Denver is NOT DEEP anywhere on defense now
Where that was their strength last season - injuries kill teams that aren't deep

Denver is skating a fine line right now... and banking on no significant injuries

They will be relying on run, kept Anderson and signed 2 o line. They knew Trevathion and Jackson would be gone, but thee have spots covered. Kap and Butt fumble no worse than Manning last year.

They gave up 18.5 points a game last season
and scored on average 22.2 a game

It's unlikely that Denver will be as good as they were this past Superbowl winning season
but they built that team knowing it would NOT stay together

They will need to score 27 to win consistently this season
where as 20 did the trick last season - they just aren't deep now
if any starting player goes down now they're in trouble
