Seattle Sounders FC vs. Red Bull New York
Wow what a great game and atmosphere. This is the attitude the MLS needs. Toronto FC has a great gmae day as well. 32,000 rabid fans is insane. A major boost for MLS.

I knew Portland would get the next team. Announcement coming tomorrow. Soccer is soon to be taking over the northeast.

I hope MLS picks up in the US. I think the more teams that are added across the US the better the support will be.

I'd love to see the MN Thunder move up like Vancouver... MN has a 12,000 seat stadium that's all theirs. it's not terribly well located, but it's all theirs.
Soccer is a tough sell for Minnesotans, despite the popularity of USA Cup held in Blaine every year... the Thunder attendance is virtually never over 5k

Playing their first MLS game and beat New York 3:0 on ESPN2
Sellout
They use the bottom half of Quest Field around 32,000.
Drew Carey (an owner) was very visible. he even had his own marching band and a March to The Match Processional.
MLS just announced the Portland Timbers will be the next new expansion team for 2011. Philly comes in in 2010 and the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2011.

Impact have to be one of the 2... Montreal really supports that team.
even though the tv market stinks... the Rochester Rhinos are a top draw in USL-1 where Vancouver and Montreal are also tops...

I still think Miami will be a 2012 expansion team.
