Trumaine Johnson scored the highest rating among NFL CB's according to Football Focus
THAT is why he got franchise tagged

Except for int's and TD's against, his numbers are middle of the pack at best in that list.

Um... He's a Defensive Corner (he covers wide receivers)
He gave up one TD in coverage and led the league in interceptions

I didn't say he wasn't really good. Just making an observation.
He had the 2nd highest completion percentage against him, gave up the 3rd most yards, and the 3rd fewest passes defended. Those other two stats are obviously weighted pretty heavy.

CCU's Josh Norman is representing the FCS well, as well.

You mean keeping receivers out of the end zone and taking the ball away from the opposing offense
Yeah those are kind of important
Along with giving up an average of 3.25 catches and 34.5 passing yards a game
The average NFL team passed for 267 yards a game
Johnson gave up 7.8% of his defenses passing yards

Keep in mind there are something like 158 cornerbacks in the NFL
This list is simply the TOP QBR against list - so everybody on this list is a TOP FLIGHT CORNER
However Johnson is in the top 10 in just about every measurable metric for Corners
which again is why he got franchise tagged

Well he still stands out like a sore thumb on that list.

I'd make another observation regarding number of targets but you guys are truly a bunch of dicks, so I won't.

So? I have one glorious and spectacular nad and was still able to sire two boys.
What with all the muscle cars, guns, and judging at cheer competitions, the verdict is still out on you.
