The Race Card Already In Week 1

"I don't speak in the voice of Cam Newton," Cecil Newton said. "I speak in the voice of Cecil Newton. I'm the father. I speak from what I saw. I'm disappointed in the officiating crew, as a fan of the NFL. ... These guys have to do a better, unbiased job. I don't want it to necessarily be because he's a black quarterback. But it causes you to wonder -- are you really biased or have some hidden reason [for treating him differently]?"
:wall:

The pussification of the NFL and the woe-is-me-because-I'm-black-ification of the country continues. :ohno:

I wonder how the mobile QBs from the 70s would do in this era of faster defenders guys like Staubach,Bradshaw,Tarkenton,Manning would they be able to withstand the hits!!!!!

It has nothing to do with race. There are some protected QB's (Brady for instance) who can't be touched in anyway without a penalty. But it's more of an elitist thing than a race thing - plenty of white QB's don't get the calls Brady does either. Race isn't part of it, period.

I think Cam took some shots that should have been flagged but to suggest race as the reason they weren't is just bullshit
