Won the last 6 games to win the Norris division. Hottest offense right not, defense still a question.

No it's not, assgovernor!bandl wrote:Way, way, way too early
Shocking that the Minnesota sports station - I'm assuming you're referencing KFAN as I listen to that station from 5:30-noon every single day plus quite a bit on weekends - would talk about their home town team (not just home town, but KFAN is THE CONTRACTED PARTNER of the Minnesota Vikings) being the best team in the league.Gil Dobie wrote:Lots of talk on Minnesota radio today about the Vikings being the best team in the NFC.

ESPN 1500 is where I heard it.clenz wrote:Shocking that the Minnesota sports station - I'm assuming you're referencing KFAN as I listen to that station from 5:30-noon every single day plus quite a bit on weekends - would talk about their home town team (not just home town, but KFAN is THE CONTRACTED PARTNER of the Minnesota Vikings) being the best team in the league.Gil Dobie wrote:Lots of talk on Minnesota radio today about the Vikings being the best team in the NFC.

The morning show is hosted by the guy who runs pregame/post game fan line, co-hosted by a guy who works for the Vikings Entertainment Network's radio/TV broadcasts, and the other two members of the radio show do Vikings Overtime on Sundays and one of them is a "top 20 Vikings reporter that gets invited to all of the private ****. Oh, and the guests during the week are another member of the VEN (and former Viking), two or three segments with Viking players during the week, 3 hours a week with possibly the most famous sports caster in Twin City history etc...
The other show on during that time is hosted by the PxP of the team.
Shocking they would be selling all the purple kool-aide that can be sold....

Guys on ESPN 1500 are homers too, Judd & Mackey, from 9-1pm.clenz wrote:I don't listen to them. No idea what was said there.Gil Dobie wrote:

I spend my mornings with KFAN. 5:30-9 is about 30% sports and 70% 4 good friends making fun of each other on the radio. I bet I gut laugh 8 or 9 times per show.
9-12 is PxP guy Paul Allen. Even he is a bit over the top with his homerism.

Well at least you learned how to divide 16 by 4 at Hawvad.Chizzang wrote:okay
points for the hilarity of this thread... (Nice work gentlemen)
But:
4 games is the traditional 1st marker point in a season
with 8 and then 12 following in natural succession

Greatest thing you've ever posted.Chizzang wrote:
You mean the AP that averaged 1.9 YPC in the game and a half he played in?Pwns wrote:Don't know if the Vikings without Adrian Peterson are a top NFC team.
It would be hilarious, though, if the NFC championship game QBs were two guys the LA rams threw aside.
I'm a McKinnon homer and think Norv Turner needs to get him the ball in space more, but I can't say he's better than Adrian Peterson.clenz wrote:You mean the AP that averaged 1.9 YPC in the game and a half he played in?Pwns wrote:Don't know if the Vikings without Adrian Peterson are a top NFC team.

McKinnon is a much better fit for the offense Norv Tuner wants than AP. AP is gone after this year - he's owed 18 million if he's on the roster March 3rd.Pwns wrote:I'm a McKinnon homer and think Norv Turner needs to get him the ball in space more, but I can't say he's better than Adrian Peterson.clenz wrote: You mean the AP that averaged 1.9 YPC in the game and a half he played in?
