I went half sentimental - worried about the Cubs getting past Bumgardner but I'm still picking the Cubbies anyway. Feel pretty good about the Nats choking and LA getting through.

Going with a WCB vote here. Cubs are strong though, and I'm not sure Bum will be able to pitch twice given the short rest from the WC to this series. I expect the Dodgers to choke, but then again they are playing a fellow choke artist as well so that should be interesting.

Are the Padres your team? Or do you like another team?

Padres, but I cheer for WCB when appropriate.

The only chance anybody has against the Cubs is in a SHORT series...
It's now or never for anybody else to have a shot to get to the WS

Yeah they got it. Giants really needed to steal that 1st game.

Giants rally, then blow a lead, then win in 13. Chapman completely imploded. I don't know enough about either teams bullpens to know who the long game favors (aside from it obviously keeping the series alive).

Awesome night, fell asleep listening to the Giants game, woke up at 1:30, turned the radio on, and the game was still on. Listened till the end. Good thing my wife was downstairs, in her office working on an issue with her customer in SF, or I wouldn't have listened.

Epic (and unsurprising) collapse by the Giants bullpen last night. I think they would have taken the series had they held on.

They lost a one run game against one of the top two pitchers in the NL. Sucked, but not sure it's laughable.
The good news is they are getting hits and scoring runs. In the past two trips to the playoffs, they weren't hitting at all. They scored 8 runs in four games in 2014 and 9 runs in the first four games in 2012. They've scored 21 this year and will probably be facing Rich Hill who gave up several runs his last start.

Nats use six pitchers in the 7th inning, an MLB postseason record for an inning.
