Sorry to disappoint you, but those 4 are from from Rochester Hills, Michigan; Bakerfield, California; Las Vegas, and southern New Jersey. Not exactly as you put it, "inbred cooter" territory..
Have you been stalking them..?

I never liked her as a driver, basically because she was a bad one, but I can't find any fault with her emotion. I've seen many male athletes break down far worse than that. It's indicative of the fact that they cared about what they do.

NASCAR has seen some radical changes since the days when it was just bootleggers racing their cars.

Your lack of currency in American sports culture is surprising.

BTW you do know they aren't "stock" cars too, right?

Hate to break it to you, but the bootleggers didn't have "stock" cars either.

At least up until about the mid-80s, the cars looked pretty similar to the Thunderbirds and Monte Carlo SS's you could buy at a dealership.

Technically, the engine parts and template dimensions are what supposedly makes them stock cars now. The engine parts have to be officially listed in the GM/Ford/Toyota catalog. Granted, most of them are listed as special order performance parts and aren't in any of the actual cars on a lot, but that's how the game is played.

The best part of the last 20 laps was knowing that KyBusch knew he had nothing for the 78.

BTW, I get that Larson didn't want to be a factor, but for him to lie down seemed awfully anti-NASCAR.

I think Larson did the right thing from that position. I don't know what the right thing would be to do if he was running 2nd in between them though. Also not sure if it was someone like Chase Elliott in that spot looking for his first career win, or Earnhardt in his last race.

Storylines:
-When MWR folded after the 2013 season Truex didn’t even know if he’d have a ride. Truex’s 1st season with Furniture Row in 2014 they were terrible. His career was almost ended then.
-Single car team (this year was the 1st year Furniture Row has run 2 cars. Going back to one car next year.
-Truex was the most dominant car in the season, winning 8 races with 26 top 10s and 19 top 5s.
-1st time since 1988 a team based outside of NC has won a Cup title, the last being Bill Elliott, who’s team was based in Dawsonville, GA.
-Truex’s long term girlfriend’s bout with stage III ovarian cancer.
-Cole Pern, Truex’s crew chief, had his best friend from childhood die a couple months ago.
-Road-crew fabricator for Furniture Row Racing’s #77 team died of a heart attack last month.
-Barney Visser, former Vietnam vet (airborne) & owner of the Furniture Row team; had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago. Recently had triple bypass surgery and wasn’t allowed to travel to the race.

Kyle restarted in the low lane and lost a few spots. Said he used up his tires getting by the 22 and then the 4. Made some snide remark about the 22 blocking him. Did congratulate Truex and said he was pretty much the best car all year.

At 1st I thought Harvick was going to catch Truex. With I think it was 31 to go and then around 20+ he twice got within about .15 seconds. Then thought Busch was. Thhen Kyle passed Harvick and Truex’s lead went from about 1.25 seconds to about .25 seconds between lap 18 to 14. Thought Truex was hosed. Kyle got close a couple of times but could never get there. Awesome!

Agreed. Listened to a ton of NASCAR XM radio Sun night to Tues morning down in FL. Heard a Larson interview where he said he could have gotten by the 18 and might have been able to get by the 78. He said he would have tried if he thought he could get by them both quickly, but didn’t think he could. Didn’t want to get stuck between them for awhile making Busch have to deal with his dirty air. Said something along the lines of it was best to have the 18 and 78 race it out and he hoped in the future he would be shown the same respect that he showed.
