And people here actually thought the Cowboys could steal a first or second round pick for the guy. Outright release and the Cowboys take the least cap hit they could take with him. Question is now whether he'll ever take another snap in the NFL or not. Has a chance since someone could take a flyer on him now with a contract structured not to screw them if he gets hurt on the first handoff.

Cousins plays out 2017 with the Skins under the tag and then, if he stays healthy and reasonably competent, will sign the largest QB contract in history with a wc(b) team - the smart money says he'll reunite with Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco...

Ryp was great, one glorious season. He was a stumbling buffoon all other seasons. I love him for 1991 though. What a great team that was.
