I've been invited, but it was always last minute and I couldn't make it happen. And to be honest, it's so good on TV that I never wanted to ruin one of my favorite weekends. I usually have people over and do a big cookout with several TV's on.

I had several invitations for the Wednesday practice rounds but mid-week never worked for me. Would love to see the place in person. Never got the invite to Thursday thru Sunday rounds though.

Story of my life. Invites that I couldn't take advantage of:
Super Bowl in San Diego between Redskins and Broncos.
2 rounds of golf and overnight stay at Pine Valley.
Final Four in Atlanta in 2007.
ODU team charter flights to UTSA and Southern Miss.

It's better in person than even CBS HD shows. I made Thurs/Fri practice rounds, got rained out one day and overcast the next and it was still visually memorable.
