Yeah, I'm year two into a short love affair with F1 racing. Sue me.
This has been a helluva season so far. MB AMG's dominance appears over. Ferrari look to be close to equal. Hamilton and Vettel look to be set for a long battle all year and I wouldn't count out Bottas either.
I'm headed up for the Canadian Grand Prix in June - very excited for that.
So Trip, this is one of the few things we have in common. I know you're not a big fan of NASCAR since Americans and white men are good at it. You been following the first few F1 races?

Yeah, I could see where you probably have no knowledge of the sport or the technology behind it. I didn't a few years ago either. It's pretty damn cool once you educate yourself though.

Vettel continues to stay ahead of Hamilton. Gonna be a helluva competition for the championship this year. Vettel, Hamilton, and Bottas are looking strong and Raikkonen isn't far behind. Nice to see the silver arrows get some competition from Ferrari.

The technology is fine and all, but the racing is so boring. Whomever gets the holeshot wins... Very little passing, its like watching a soccer game

I was at the only F1 track in America. Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. Was with a gentleman who's a huge car guy and on the Board of Directors of COTA...still like watching paint dry.
