Has a shot but it will be tough. Using the 2017 World Championship Standards, he will need to go a little higher than 7' 6 1/2" (2.3 meters) just to be eligible so he'll need to improve about 7 1/2 inches by then.

For perspective, the US only had 2 guys reach that mark last year with 3 others at 2.29 (which was the Olympic standard in 2016)

Thanks for the info wow 14 yrs and jumping like this quite sure all the D1 powers know about him it would be something if Montana or Montana St got their names in the hunt for this jumping phenom!!!

My Montana peeps told me about this kid like I'm supposed to know what 6'7" means. They were all pretty excited though so I went with it and said things like "wow!", "cool!", and "holy smokes!"

6'11" is his best. And it's an unofficial world record for his age group.

Libby has had a couple of junior golf phenoms and this one shoots a 61 yesterday as a sophomore in the state championship. IIRC, he kicked my ass as a 13 year old the last time I played up there.
