A press release went out today in which a group alleging itself to be the International Federation of American Football expelled USA Football from the organization over charges that the national governing body failed to allow anti-doping access to national team athletes. The press release asserts that USA Football is not longer the national governing body.

Apparently, this is the result of a political schism within IFAF that started at the 2015 World Championship in Canton, OH, with poles in New York and Paris. It is the IFAF-Paris faction that is doing this in the name of the over-arching organization, timed in an attempt to discredit IFAF-New York's Women's World Championship of American Football to be held this summer in Langley, BC. IFAF-Paris is apparently staging its own men's tournament in Poland, which was SUPPOSED to include a US National Team. This will apparently happen, but from a specious new organization known as the US Federation of American Football, which has no relationship whatsoever to USA Football, which was founded and is funded by a joint cooperative between the NFL and the NFLPA. IFAF-Paris's press release is about the worst press release I've ever seen in terms of grammar and trying to get across their point.
