Is this the NFL over reacting? Kind of sorta maybe looks like a woman looking for some revenge. The appeal might be justified.

Two points on this one...Chizzang wrote:"More likely than not..."
Is all it takes to get suspended in the NFL

Actual evidence is NOT required
What would - or - would not hold up in court isn't relevant either
Simply put: What is likely
Is all

One - I completely agree with The above assessment of "More likely than not"...especially after the Brady suspension._
Two - The 'Boys show just how dishonest they can be, after cutting a non-star over a mis-identification but sticking with a star in this situation...
The Players Union appeals almost all suspensionsmrklean wrote:The Players Union will appeal this suspension.
Nah, 4 games at the minimum, and a good chance there's no reduction from the 6. He's out for a good chunk of time.andy7171 wrote:I'm betting reduced to 2 games. Either way, he's playing the Skins. I do not care.
From what I've heard from the accuser, it's a complete scam. It happened at tOSU, which makes this worse for Dallas. He should sue the shit out of her for defamation.GannonFan wrote:Nah, 4 games at the minimum, and a good chance there's no reduction from the 6. Evidence for or against is irrelevant...andy7171 wrote:From what I've heard from the accuser, it's a complete scam. It happened at tOSU, which makes this worse for Dallas. He should sue the shit out of her for defamation.GannonFan wrote:

If the police did not enough evidence to charge him, why punish him now?Chizzang wrote:Evidence for or against is irrelevant...andy7171 wrote: From what I've heard from the accuser, it's a complete scam. Roger has full over ride authority and this is about perception
Witnesses have already said Zeke pushed her around publicly
after that it's all over - if Roger thinks he broke the "conduct becoming of an NFL employee"
Then that's the end of that
There wasn't enough proof to find Brady guilty of anything...yet the Commish got his way...mrklean wrote:If the police did not enough evidence to charge him, why punish him now?Chizzang wrote:

Yup, different standards. Police worry about criminal standards, NFL worries about bad press for the league. Hence why Elliot can end up having no charges from the cops but can be suspended by the league.Col Hogan wrote:There wasn't enough proof to find Brady guilty of anything...yet the Commish got his way...mrklean wrote:

Same-same
The NFL is a private employer...they can impose any standard they want...something the police can't ...
Lucky Whitehead wasn't going to make the team anyway. That was just the final thing in a long line of shit.Col Hogan wrote:Two points on this one...Chizzang wrote:"More likely than not..."

Being falsely accused of a crime he was thousands of miles away from was "the straw". What a weird standard.Vidav wrote:Lucky Whitehead wasn't going to make the team anyway. That was just the final thing in a long line of shit.Col Hogan wrote:
