Who wins the NLDS's?

I go Dodgers/Cubs in this one, but truth be told, it's not been this wide open in the NL for awhile. It's easy to make arguments on both sides against all of these teams. Any outcome is likely.

I'm picking Dbacks-Natinals, but as GannonFan posted, I can see any of the scenarios playing out.

Dbacks are in the Doh-yers heads....two straight series sweeps....

Cubs don't have the firepower this year to keep up with the Nats....

I gave you my picks, not like I'm hiding from it. If I was a gambler, though, I wouldn't touch these two series at all, that's all I'm saying.

I kind of feel sorry for Nats fans, watching the Cubs beating them late in Game 1.

Kind of.

Amazing that their starting pitcher can throw a no-hitter for 6+ innings and then they basically blow the game the moment he leaves the game. It's like their bullpen is back to their beginning of the season losing ways.
Also doesn't help when you can only score 1 run. As OSBF would tell us if he were still with us, there's only one way to win a game when you score just 1 run.

That and Strasburg giving up zero earned runs in the opener and still taking the loss...

Yep. Just amazing that their two best pitchers did exactly what they were asked to do and more, annnnnnnnnnnnnnd they still lost both of those games.

Roark is pitching tonight, so the series is basically already over.

Batting is atrocious, no doubt, but why the hell would Dusty bring in Sammy Solis? They got Kinzler, Madson and Doolittle for a reason. Turner is 0 fer the series... why not bunt him or bring in Lind in the 8th as a PH? Speaking of which, in Game 1 left handed Lind on the bench and instead he pinch hits a RH batter against a RH pitcher. Werth starts the game last night when Kendrick is batting .500 against that starting pitcher.

Dusty should have been fired after the game last night. :coffee:

Not sure what the f&ck was going on with Strasburg BEFORE the game today, but there's no doubt anymore that he can handle the moment DURING the game this postseason.

I watched about 2 minutes of the game after work, Taylors at bat.

Apparently the only at-bats worth watching for the Nats occur in the 8th inning.
