Mussina should get in, despite his tenure in New York. I'd be inclined to put Pettite in as well, because he came clean (get it? :D ) about it quickly. At some point, some of the juicing stars will start to get in. I'd like to see it limited to those who admitted their cheating.

Have you compared the stats?

Any pitcher who had 100 more wins than losses has made it into the HOF with the exception of
Bob Caruthers (pitched in 1800's), Pettitte, Clemens, and Mussina
I'm not looking at stats. I'm looking at WS performance. I'm pretty sure none of those others ever won a CG Game 6 and then came back for the save in Game 7....

If you are looking for post season studs Curt Schilling has to be among them.

Rockies picked up 2 FA pitchers, Shaw from Cleveland and resigned Magee. Now, they need to get Holland, Davis or Colome and they are set in the pen.

Twins Acquire Pineda for basically $10 million for 2019. He gets $2 million for 2018 rehab and $8 million for 2019, plus up to $3 million in bonus money.

Sounds like Darvish is also on the Twins shopping list. 2018 is the last year of the AZGriz's Joe Mauer deal of the century.

I think Pineda will pay off for them a lot better than Fernando Rodney. His arrows are likely to return and hit him.

They want Darvish so they can guarantee they won’t make the WS?

Rodney :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:
I have far less of a problem with the arrows compared to the way he wears his hat.

A little late, but Ian Kinsler is dealt to the Angels for a couple of low level prospects. Thanks for the time in Detroit Ian!

Caught that blurb over the busy weekend. Did a great job for the Tigers.

He's just realizing that Cleveland ain't ever going to get it done. They missed their window, so might as well make some money.
