I was at this game... both Andre Roberts and Jerome Felton were playing in it

I attended with Citdog

That game is still a classic in El Cid sports history

The late Ken Burger, a sportswriter with the Post and Courier (and one of the last truly great print sportswriters IMO) wrote one of the best football articles ever - about that game.

Also - how did I not meet you? I saw and spoke to Citdog at that game

He's a very well kept secret in the NFL - and he plays well with Fitz.

He'll be in the NFL probably about another 4-5 years, and that is quite a successful career outside of being a franchise player.

He just signed with the Jets.

Citadel great Stump Mitchell is the running backs coach there, so the El Cid flavor has moved from the Cards to the Jets

We don't need another bad egg on the Eagles. We already picked up a dude from Seattle who knocks over elderly paraplegics. We've reached our shitheel quota for this offseason.

Dez Bryant is a No. 2 that will be looking for No. 1 money
Won't be able to get open deep but strong in the middle of the field

Will destroy your locker room and about mid-season will start undermining the coaching staff

He belongs on the Ravens or Browns squads....
Not on a quality NFL roster

Dez plays like a second tier tight end now who can't block. He's got no speed and his hands aren't what they used to be. But other than that, sure, he's really good.

So he's an undersized tight end with a bad attitude. I don't want him on my team.

He was the talk of the radio here yesterday. Redskins would certainly be a team that would pay #1 money for a #2 player.

BTW, not exactly sure how you lump in the Ravens with the Browns. :dunce:

I lump the Ravens and Browns together because
I'm not sure which team will be better next season

and

Both have wildly over rated coaches who act like they know everything yet statistically are average at best
Both teams squander their roster talent and can't seem to figure out how to use the talent they have
Neither team can consistently develop drafted players into quality starters
Both teams are where wide receivers go to die...

Other than those things their totally different

* they're

You are off your rocker if you think there is no difference. The Browns set a mark that no team other than the Redskins can challenge.

There are plenty of differences.. I simply listed the similarities
Which are apparent to any casual NFL fan me thinks

Unfortunately for Baltimore the problems are real
The Ravens think they're smarter then they are
They can't consistently develop talent
and they destroy receives careers with an alarming regularity

:geek:

the past 5 seasons should be plenty of "data" to go on...

Other than the Patriots, who really does consistently develop talent?

Two SB rings and 15 playoff wins since 2000 says the Ravens are VERY different than the Browns.

And I'm wondering what WR's they've destroyed. Boldin?

Why would he go there on a multi-year contract? Flacco is near the end of his contract and then they don't have a proven QB. If you think it's bad being a WR there now, imagine when they move away from an established QB like Flacco and hand it over to Lamar Jackson.

Keenum Link
The Broncos have agreed to sign Case Keenum, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com (on Twitter). Exact of the pact are not yet known, though Mike Klis of 9NEWS (on Twitter) hears that it’s expected to be a two-year deal for at least $36MM.
Why are Vikings looking for another QB? Don’t they have like 5 starters already on the roster?
I think they shouldn't have signed COUSINS I would have kept BRIDGEWATER because of his youth and I think he has more overall talent inspite of the NEAR CAREER ENDING INJURY.

I don't think the Vikings were confident in Teddy's recovery. The knee might never heel properly.
