This caught me by surprise. Just saw it over the weekend in my alumni magazine. The Flames are now in the Atlantic Sun Conference. This shocks me, because it's a conference filled with nobodies whose academics aren't even on a par with Liberty. Liberty's just guaranteed itself mediocrity, as the ASUN is not even G5, much less P5. The Flames will be defined out by the P5 elitists. SMH....

The only Liberty varsity programs not joining the ASUN are football (FBS Independent), field hockey (Big East), and women's swimming and diving (CCSA).
