Does New York still forge birth certificates? If so, I’m riding the hot hand and going with the 14 and 15 year olds from the Empire State, baby!

A kid from Maryland this year had a mustache. Was winning pitcher in semi-final vs. NJ.

Good to see the non-Mediterranean/Caribbean states catching on! :thumb:

Btw, was it an Eastern Shore team? 12 year olds do have mustaches on Delmarva. Boys and girls.

Is that because of the family telephone pole?

We're heading up on Sunday to watch the 4 games that day (with the early 9AM start - pushed up because they play the major league game that night just like last year - se we're leaving the house at 6:15AM Sunday morning) so that should be fun. The boys have been getting a new shirt and hat every year and the try not to get duplicates. One's getting an Australia shirt this year, one's getting a West shirt, and not sure what the little guy is going for.

I go with Michigan right now - they were loaded with big kids and big arms - basically, the recipe to win Little League baseball games (i.e. just get bigger, above average for their age, kids). I didn't think much of Rhode Island when I saw them play and the same with Idaho - both are longshots at best. Hawaii had some decent arms.

Yes. Berlin.
Just a straight shot down US-113 from me. I used to get biodiesel from a guy in Berlin that brewed his own back when I was trying to be a hippy, circa 2005. Fuck that noise now. Exxon is way easier. Fuck the planet!

Berlin has a bar called The Globe that I got a nice buzz in a few times.

I didn't see much of the Regionals other than Mid-Atlantic. New York has at least one stud pitcher who threw a perfect game in the Regional Final.

So I went with New York.

No. Took a limo. Nike paid for it. His wife and kids rode in it too.

The contractor doing work at my house, an old army vet, told me yesterday he was taking today and Friday off to go to Shelby, NC and watch the LL World Series. Apparently, USAA does it up bigly.

Ah, pitching depth and pitch counts. The Puerto Rico team (Caribbean) has a kid throw a scoreless no-hitter and leads 2-0 through 5 1/3 innings, but hits the 85 pitch limit, and the kid who comes in after him coughs up some hits and lets Korea (Asia-Pacific) tie it up 2-2. Game's in extra inning (i.e. more pitchers needed) and is going to the 8th inning as of right now.

And Korea wins it in the 9th, 4-2 score. Tough loss for Puerto Rico, stud pitcher can't pitch until Tuesday now. Not impossible, but long way back now.

Australia up early on Mexico - potential upset in the making there.

Blew it in the last inning. That would have made things interesting.
