I have hard and calloused skin from 27 years of misery. I accepted the 8-8 season after the 1st quarter of the first pre-season game, when whats-his-face tore his knee up.

You guys from the City of Brotherly Love(chortle, chortle) are still high off the Super Bowl. The schadenfreude is going to be so much worth it.

Dude, even if the Eagles sucked this year, we'd still have last year's Super Bowl on DVR. I know you don't get that because the 'Skins have been the New York Jets of the NFC East for the better part of 3 decades now, but trust me, the Eagles aren't going to suck and the glow from winning the Super Bowl (and having the parade to end all parades) doesn't fade very quickly. It's good to be the king.

Yup, not going 13-3 again, but I'll take 10-6 and winning the division and playing in the playoffs. Thankfully the rest of the NFC East sucks, so we got that in our pocket.
