Regular season started yesterday. Caps started with their defense of the Cup in dominating fashion by embarrassing the Bruins 7-0 including 2 goals in the first 1:47 of the game.

Was phenomenal. Place was packed, barely an empty seat and VERY few Bruins fans. I honestly only saw 15-20 Bruins jerseys all night.tribe_pride wrote:Regular season started yesterday. They certainly didn't show up on the ice...89Hen wrote:Was phenomenal. Place was packed, barely an empty seat and VERY few Bruins fans. Wait, they raised the banner for their first Stanley Cup and they didn't sell the place out?89Hen wrote: barely an empty seat
According to ESPN, attendance was 18,506 and capacity is 18,398 so they sold out. Always a few people who don't show (or are in the bathroom when people look at seats)GannonFan wrote:Wait, they raised the banner for their first Stanley Cup and they didn't sell the place out?89Hen wrote: barely an empty seat
Gannon fishing, but with stinky bait. The Caps surpassed the 400 straight sellout mark last year and it will top 500 in just over two more years. He's just upset because the Flyers are no longer at 100%+ capacity.tribe_pride wrote:According to ESPN, attendance was 18,506 and capacity is 18,398 so they sold out. No such team, this is an NHL thread Horney.SuperHornet wrote:Go Mighty Ducks!
I haven't been to a Flyers game in years, and even with seats open I probably still won't go. Hockey is far down the list in terms of pecking order of sports, so it's no bother to me if the Flyers fill the building or not. Sixers start in a few weeks, the Eagles are just in Week 5, and the MLB playoffs just started.89Hen wrote:Gannon fishing, but with stinky bait. The NBA is trash, and the NFL is quickly headed in the same direction.GannonFan wrote:I haven't been to a Flyers game in years, and even with seats open I probably still won't go.
