There was never a chance to resign Corbin - at $25M/year he is getting.

Goldy is in the last year of his contract - Dbacks are in full rebuild mode.

They trade Goldy and I'm officially throwing out all my DBacks gear. :tothehand: :tothehand:

I’m sure they care. Get ready for 10,000 person crowds again.

The Dbacka are rebuilding, Giants also going to rebuild, Padres improving but not there yet, that leaves Rockies and Dodgers to fight it out.

Phillies gave up on Crawford and traded him and Santana to the M’s for Segura and bullpen help. Not bad.

They still need starting pitching and another outfielder with power.

Mariners are going to be a AAA team at best next year. Maybe they can take a run a Detroit's most losses record.

DBacks might as well just move to the short season rookie league....Fucking POS team ownership. They can kindly go fuck themselves. I’m out.

Does he still remember how? Might need to buy new gear.

He did catch in his final game with the Twins. Doubt he would play there regularly with his concussion history. He was one of the best athletes in the country. He was the National High School Football Player of the Year and National High School Baseball Player of the year as a High School Senior. Turned down a scholarship at Florida St to play QB. Also led his basketball team to the State High School Semi-Finals.

That's a lot of money for a guy who has been dominant for two months in his otherwise unremarkable career.

You are the back of your baseball card. I think the Sox overpaid big time.

They've won 4 World Series this century to your Yankees' two. Methinks they're doing something right.

Yea, if they win 18 more without the Yankees getting another one, they'll be tied.

But committing $68 million Eovaldi over the next four years wasn't necessary. No one else was going to give him that kind of money.

I actually like this, because it will force the Yankees to trade for guys like Kluber, Bauer, Bumgarner, or Greinke. The Yanks are sitting on a load of young talent and it's time to let some of it go.

One of those guys will be in pinstripes come Spring training. If you are going to pay $17M or more per year to a starter, the guy should have the kind of track record that justifies that salary.

I like the Yankees' roster long-term over what the Sox have.

I would rather have an AL pitcher than an NL pitcher. The move from NL to AL doesn't work out well in most cases.
