NFL should get rid of kickoffs

I love this article... it is perfect: it has the perfect combination of snark, smug prickery, disdain for NFL leadership, and advocacy

I’m also not completely sure I disagree with it...
Imagine if your opponent is having trouble stopping you and your defense is playing very well (and your opponent is a hated rival)
This could be the formula for a 80-90 point game

I wouldn't have any heartburn with 4th and 15 from the 30 replacing kickoffs. They'll obviously have to modify that for OT (why not adopt college OT?).
Hell, a team with a good punter could consistently pin the opposition inside the 20. Plus, you'll still get some good pops on the punt returner if he chooses to return it, unlike now where they just watch the ball dribble into the end zone on two thirds of kickoffs.

Well he's right about two things:
Kickoffs definitely should be banned.
Mahomes is the next great QB.
I'd be fine with ANY change that sped up the game, shortened the game, and improved scoring.
