Rams in a close one. Brady looked a bit rough around the edges in last nights game.

Re: Super Bowl LIII: Rams vs Patriots
All depends on how the Rams can stop the run. If you can't stop the Pats running the ball you're in trouble. Rams didn't have the best statistical rush defense all year, but they've come up big in spots - they really shut down Dallas and Ezekiel a week ago and they did a pretty decent job against the Saints yesterday even with the Saints having the advantage of having the lead for most of the game. The running backs themselves don't scare you against New England, but the offensive line and the schemes should. The Rams have the ability like the Eagles did to be disruptive enough at the line to stop a running attack. We'll see if they do or not.

2 weeks for Belichick to prep 2 defensive game plans (1 for each half) against an overrated QB like Goff? This is gonna be a repeat of how he took out Kurt Warner's Greatest Show on Turf...

Well, absent the illegal video taping of course. Halftime adjustments will be harder this time around.Rob Iola wrote:2 weeks for Belichick to prep 2 defensive game plans (1 for each half) against an overrated QB like Goff? I think the Ram's D-Line has the ability to stuff the run and put some serious pressure up the middle on Brady. Two key components to beating the Patriots.Rob Iola wrote:2 weeks for Belichick to prep 2 defensive game plans (1 for each half) against an overrated QB like Goff? I believe the Patriots run of greatness started with an upset of the Rams. I'm hoping it ends with an upset by the Rams.

I’m with Chizzy and Alpha on this (a phrase not often muttered) and I admire Brady and the Pats. I’ll root for LA Eags of course but a tip of the hat to NE and Brady.Gil Dobie wrote:

I can’t bring myself to pull for the LA Asterisks this year, although they have several excellent young players. Southern California and pro football just don’t mix. And celebrities.kalm wrote:I’m with Chizzy and Alpha on this (a phrase not often muttered) and I admire Brady and the Pats. I think the Patriots will win.
And unless there is a fiery crash of Kroenke's plane on the way to Atlanta, I want the Patriots to win.

John Fassel rules.
I hope they activate him so he can play. Great QB, and he can quick kick to screw over the Patriots defense, just like he did to Sac two years in a row....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Saints trying to get a court to rule in favor of restarting the NFCCG from the missed penalty.

I hate when people cover everything and never make a pick so they can come back later and say, "see, I knew that could be a problem".
Anybody can do that.
