Rams didn't have the best statistical rush defense all year, but they've come up big in spots - they really shut down Dallas and Ezekiel a week ago and they did a pretty decent job against the Saints yesterday even with the Saints having the advantage of having the lead for most of the game. The running backs themselves don't scare you against New England, but the offensive line and the schemes should. The Rams have the ability like the Eagles did to be disruptive enough at the line to stop a running attack. We'll see if they do or not.
Oh, stop waffling, have some spine, and make a fucking pick.

I hate when people cover everything and never make a pick so they can come back later and say, "see, I knew that could be a problem".

Anybody can do that.

Pats because I used up all my good luck on the Eagles and Caps last year. I was rooting for the Saints and Chiefs. F me.

Flaggy, been meaning to ask you... what's the vibe in the Lou? Do they hate the Rams, still have a soft spot...?

It was a bit of a soft landing because they saw the writing on the wall for a while.
Kind of a "Damn, that sucks" reaction.
But the real triggering is with Kroenke. A group worked for over a year on plans for a new stadium and coordinating it with investors and the city and state officials. They actually put together a plan that all could agree to but Kroenke didn't even give it a look. He had deals worked out for property in LA long before the group finished their work. If he had said that he was moving the team from the beginning, it wouldn't be so bad. The fans understand the move. But he allowed the group to continue to work hard, giving them false hope, so he wouldn't have an empty dome during that last season.

Most people I know root against the Rams because of Kroenke. Plus, the roster has turned over quite a bit since that last season so the loyalty has waned. Many have jumped to the Chiefs. Big hatred for the Bears so not too many jumped to them. Some picked up the Titans.

Meh. One team doesn't really belong in the game. Big stain on this year's Super Bowl. Don't think there's ever been as much of a case of "this team shouldn't really be here" as there is this year.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

The Rams scored twice after the bad call. The Saints should have stopped them.

Saints and Chiefs had their games won, that's the most disappointing part.

Can Bryce Harper hit a longer jumper than Ben Simmons? He's available.

Simmons is proving having a jumper is unnecessary. Why shoot it from the outside when you can get to the rim whenever you want. Outside shooting is so 2017-18.

I honestly don't see why not. Get to live in SD as a multimillionaire and crush SD pussy, and they could theoretically build a decent team around him.

It's plausible, but I think the Dodgers are still waiting until somebody else gets serious before they swoop in with a fat check. He wants to be on the west coast, and the Padres, while supposedly having cleared up their debt problems substantially, are still not in the same financial position the Dodgers are. The Phillies have a wad of cash to throw as well, but I don't think Harper wants to be 2,500 miles from home anymore.

We'll see.

We’re getting to be more like the Brits every day when it comes to wagering. You can bet on anything over there from international friendlies to the number of orgasms Theresa May will have this year.

To be fair, 5 Dimes is an .eu house, but I'm sure Vegas is taking similar props.

What’s the O/U on Brady’s flea flicker routine that always seems to fail, occurring?
