Brian Flores is obviously a better Defensive coach than Matt Patricia
Who the Lions are now stuck with... but can he win as a head coach ?

Flores has been with the Patriots for 15 years
and Bill Belichick credits him with the improved D-line work and some new trickery in blitz schemes

But he comes from a doomed legacy of former belichick assistants

Give me a break. Patricia has had ONE bloody season with a prior roster of has-beens. Give him five years to develop his own squad before you go out on this shaky limb. Tom Landry started out with losing teams, yet nearly lasted 30 and won a few Super Bowls to boot, and he was a defensive genius....

Patricia won't get 5 years in Detroit. And given a choice between the 2, I'd take Flores.
