Stupid comparison its much harder to win football games, they have 10 other failure points/people that can bring you down. Basketball has only 4.

Much easier for a good basketball player to win games than a QB.

That being said if you just compare greatness and ability to do the job its Brady hands down.

If Brady is so great, then why is it that the Pats are always so much better in December and January than September?

Why are guys like Julian Edelman fairly average during the season and put on pro-bowl performances in the playoffs?

Why do they shut down so many good offenses in the Super Bowl?

Brady is good, but come on. These are all signs of a management and coaching staff that does a good job of building schemes around their players.

I'd legitimately put Tiger above all three of those. But he's not at the top of the list.

Brady has about 6 minutes of action in a game, and controls most of it. Jordan had nearly 40 minutes of game action. Both relied on other players to help win. Football is one game and done, basketball is best of 7.

Jordan averaged 33 ppg during the playoffs.

I think what you were trying to say is the Brady can't sniff Jordans jock.

Jordan is simply the GOAT. He's the cock of the walk.

Yuppers. Brady gets a ton of help that goes unheralded. Seems to have really good offensive lines in front of him most of the time. Jordan left the Bulls to play baseball and the Bulls didn't win a title again until he came back. Just sayin.

You could insert any top-tier QB from the last 30 years and probably get the same results.

Curious how you would compare Brady to Bart Starr. Both played for great teams and both had great coaches. Starr won 5 rings in 7 years. It was a different game back then, but Starr was good at what he did. Many would say Johnny Unitas was the best QB during that time, he did win 3 titles. Do you judge players by their ability or how many championships they've won. Bill Russell led the Celtics to more championship than any of them, but played in the shadows of Wilt Chamberlain.

Gretsky, is the single greatest player in any team sport ever. Its not even arguable how dominant he was.

I wouldn't go that far. I'm convinced that Brett Favre was wildly overrated. I'm sure he would've found some way to force a pass and turn the ball over in a critical spot and not win nearly as many as Brady did.

He was who we thought he was. He will win you a bunch of games, but throw away a few and break your heart. Without Favre the Packers are luck to get to 8-8 during his years.
