On a serious note, he's their fourth best player at the moment, behind Hoskins, Segura, and Realmuto. Who expected the slugger, Hoskins, to have a significantly higher OBP (.392 vs .356) than Harper in mid-June? Barring a Harper-led charge to the playoffs and a series victory, you gotta call this first Harper season a real disappointment.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Harper signing, but baseball is a business and the guy sells a lot of merchandise and puts asses in the seats. In the end, I probably won't end up being a bad investment.

Trade rumors have Matt Boyd going to Philadelphia from Detroit. He's the best pitcher on a shitey team, but probably a solid #3 starter (maybe #4) for a contender. He's also under team control through 2022. Asking price apparently is Alec Bohm. Y'all think it is worth the price?

Depends if they think Kingery is the answer at 3rd base. If he is there's less room for Bohm. With that said, I'd wait for something better than Boyd - he's a low-rent kind of fix for the Phillies pitching woes.
