Phils & Braves are wearing 1979 throwbacks tonight. The Phils are wearing the 1979 "Saturday Night Special" all-burgundies with white side stripe and zippered jerseys. They were worn once only and never brought back because Greg Luzinski hated them.

So, the Phillies are unofficially eliminated tonight. They haven't won a series against a ,500 or better team since May.

Phillies salvage third game of Braves series. Realmuto hits GS, Nola pitches well enough to win, and Pivetta closes it out.

Despite the spring training hype, the needle hasn't moved all that much in Philly, which raises the question of whether Harper's elevation as a rock star set him up for success—or if it was a guarantee for disappointment.

Bullpen will prevent them from winning anything. Was looking better, now looks worse again. Up 11-1 going into the 9th yesterday. New guy Blazek gives up two walks, two hits and three runs.
