But there is the little issue of forcing everyone to wear the rainbow jerseys.
Would this be like a Japanese MLB player forced to wear Red, White, and Blue socks and hat on July 4th?

Nothing wrong with wearing Pride Jerseys - hell, half the team in gay.

What about the half that’s not? They should be forced to wear them too? I’m sure there’s not a SINGLE person on that team who felt forced into wearing it and is biting their tongue from not being able to say anything.

It's a slickery deal...
people get pretty excited to speak on behalf of The Almighty Grand Poobah

If God is truly omnipotent
Then we can logically deduce that he enjoys murdering children by the thousands daily
and also he seems to enjoy Beetles as there are millions of different species (for some reason)

Other than that it gets dicey...
Muslims, Malaria, Hepatitis, Dengue Fever and Tuberculosis seem to be in great favor as well
Q: Name something that offends Republicans?
A: The actual teachings of Jesus

I have a question for dback.

What does “Q” add to “LGBT” ? Isn’t Q redundant? I always thought “queer” was a term that gays and lesbians (but not straights) used collectively to describe themselves, as in “Queer Studies” departments at colleges.

I have known it to mean "Questioning" - someone that may not feel they fit into Gay/Bi/Lesbian, but don't feel they are 100% straight, either.

Makes sense.

In the office I refer to gays as queers. Because it is RIGHT THERE IN THE ACRONYM.

I've found that gay folks don't really give a sh!t what you call them...
Mostly the battles and arguments are over equality and humanity
if you get that part right - you can call a gay person damned near anything - and likewise back at you

They tend to be pretty good (hilarious actually) at name calling back

And SHE made it political.

No. I want US Soccer to stop making political statements with the team uniform.

She didn't make it political. She declined to promote the political view being advanced by US Soccer (a non-profit organization).

Absolutely -

It isn’t meant as an insult at all

But it makes hypersensitive PC state dept types gasp and cringe

Why can't we call them homosexuals? Is that verboten in 2019?

Too many letters to tweet.

The “Q” might be ambiguous, as in The Ambiguously Gay Duo.

OTOH, it might be androgynous. 8-)
