Koepka and Spieth tied at 5 under after round 2, a few strokes off the lead.

:suspicious: I'm not sure he's broken 80 in an Open in ten years. It's always he and IBF battling it out for who shoots the highest score of a defending champ. He needs to stop playing. It's just embarrassing.

Don't count Rory out yet. He is now 2 off the cut with 4 holes to play.

Always liked Lehman. There’s something to be said for knowing the ball is always going to be moving just one direction.

As shitty as the weather was, it honestly didn't look like it really bothered anyone.

Chess would be pretty boring to watch on TV. Especially if you didn’t understand it’s complexities, beautiful and ever changing fields of play, and athleticism.

Golf and bowling require about the same amount of "athleticism"
and both commonly focus around drinking and playing

Which is your first clue about a "Sport"
and I do use these " " for effect here

Except you don't walk 6+ miles in bowling (9.6+ km in the Palouse).

Or play from irregular surfaces with slope and wind. A 3 year old kid can throw a strike. They can’t hit a 240 yard 2 iron from a hanging lie into a quartering cross wind, and get it to stop 2 feet from the cup.

Ask John Smoltz, Tony Romo, or Steve Curry how athletic golf is.

My FIL, who had a mighty low handicap back in the day, always said that golf is both a strength and a coordination game, with an emphasis on the latter. Anybody who mocks the athleticism of golfers obviously doesn’t know his arse from a tin cup.

Bowling and professional golf have no similarities in terms of athleticism.
