Virginia team looked pretty good. Hawaii has been good the past couple of years. I like one of those, but I'm going Hawaii in the poll here. Heading up to Williamsport on Saturday this year - always a good time.

Texas got knocked off by Louisiana and California has been dominated by Hawaii recently. Remember, Hawaii's team won it all last year.

I haven't looked it up but Virginia rarely makes it out of the Region. I think this is primarily due to the fact that some of the prime baseball areas either focus on travel ball (Tidewater and Richmond) or are in the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Division system (Richmond, Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, Stafford, Winchester). Also, lacrosse has had an effect on Virginia and Maryland.

Yes, it's specifically forbidden in LL. RI had their whole team coached up to steal the catcher's pitch signals.
