I guess his goal is to break Brett Favre's career retirements record. :?

Beat writers in Indy have mentioned more than once over the past 4 seasons that Luck does not enjoy Irsay
They almost never speak and Luck avoids events that Irsay specifically invites him to

Imagine that - The face of the franchise avoiding the owner

Colts fans booed him relentlessly as he left the field. Again, shocked, shocked I say, to find out that fans outside of Philly boo some of their greatest players in the history of their franchise. Shocked.

Agreed,
He's spent too much time rehabbing his body... and doesn't love the game anymore

25 mil in the bank to enjoy the rest of his life

Biggest early retirement since Barry Sanders. Biggest in NFL history:
1. Jim Brown (1966, age 29)
2. Barry Sanders (1999, age 31)
3. Andrew Luck (29, 30 on 9/12).

This news is sadly taking air time away from the minute by minute updates of the Ezekiel Elliott holdout. :ohno:

According to 538 (and Pro Football Reference's "Approximate Value" stat), the only comparatively valuable QB to never play again after age 29 was Neil Lomax. Lomax was forced to retire due to a severe hip problem, however.

My guess is
if jacoby brissett can stay healthy and on the field the Colts go 9-7

however, they might lose 4 of their first 5
that opening salvo of games is brutal

Colin Kapernick was seen sprinting to Lucas Oil Stadium in hopes to get a job.

He doesn’t want a job

He wants attention with minimal effort

Check out the Twitter poopstorm started over this by that idiot Doug Gottlieb. While I don't agree with Troy Aikman's choice of language in his response, I fully agree with his sentiment....

Luck did what was best for him and his family. What’s worth more: an extra 15-20 years of life, or a couple hundred million in the bank? He’ll never need the money, and he preserves his health. Win-win. Leave the kid alone.

It's tough out there for millionaires that have to train and stay healthy, for 6 minutes of action in a game.

Let's hope Carson's back and knee are fully healed.
