That would be awesome! Thanks!
After the Blazers, I'll be cheering for them. I do like Philly teams and now the Janie Butler isn't there anymore the Sixers are ok to cheer for.

I LAWLed at “Janie Butler”!
Janie was an absolute cancerous prima donna at the end with the Bulls. Hoiberg had enough problems, he didn't need Janie and DWade undercutting him. Rajon Rondo was a much better teammate and leader.
I'm pretty sure clenz has similar feelings about his time with the TWolves.

Butler behaved himself in his time with the Sixers. Just not the fit we needed, though, and it was addition through subtraction with him. Didn't sign him to the money he wanted and we got Josh Richardson and Al Horford instead. Wish him well in South Beach and he's always welcome back to sit next to AI and watch the Sixers bring home the trophy this year.

The West has been overrated for a few years now, it's been Golden State and a bunch of good, but flawed teams. And now with injuries and departures Golden State could be right in that mix with everyone. Sure, the West is deeper, but Philly and Milwaukee could win the West if they were there. Both are much more complete teams than say a Laker, or Rocket, or Trailblazer team. Like I said, there's a lot of depth in the West, but there's also not a lot of top teams. Look for the Clippers to come out of the West this year for a real good Finals with whomever comes out of the East (well, Milwaukee or Philly, no one else is anywhere close to as good).
It's all going to come together for the Sixers this year. Embiid crying like a baby after losing to Toronto last year was the, pun intended, watershed moment for the young guns. Now they know they want to win and what it takes to win. Simmons blowing off the World Cup was another good sign too - focus is on now and this year. Hand it to Elton Brand, he took a tough hand with Jimmy Butler and turned it into Richardson and Horford, and then has a bench to start the year with rather than hastily putting one together a month before the playoffs. Trust the Process, it's happening this year.
Just two exhibition games in, and only one against a real NBA team (well, the Hornets, so just barely NBA) and the expectations for the year look right on target. Horford may end up being the best FA signing of all - he looks like he's going to fit in with Embiid and Simmons very nicely. A whole season of that starting five, having Ennis and Scott coming of the bench with a veteran center backup and the rookie Thybulle, and the Sixers are 9-10 deep at that point. Tough schedule at the start of the year so we'll get an early taste of how good this team could be.
The Celtics have been the Sixers nemesis since Embiid & Simmons came into the league. They took care of them in the second half last night rather impressively. Great team D - Horford & Richardson should acclimate well - just need better outside shooting.
Philadelphia’s relentless search for a champion in any sport continues. Not too many years ago, local fans were delirious about tiles won by the Phantoms, the Soul, and the Wings. Remember them?

Hey look. Philadelphia Derangement Syndrome guy is in this thread too.
PDS will be your new acronym.
Be honest: did somebody from Philly steal a girlfriend when you were young or something? What happened?
You Philly guys think all your teams are world beaters, someone has to keep you sane. 76ers have great talent, but some of your best players are injury prone and/or head cases. Just what have they accomplished since a certain doctor left?

And you live where? Utah? Now there’s a Mecca for pro sports.

And seriously, we acknowledge that the Flyers blow chunks and we had a big party when the Phillies became the first team to notch 10,000 losses. Philly fans are probably the most realistic of any fanbase simply because we have seen as much losing as we have. With that said, most power polls in the NBA have the Sixers as the #2 team in the league, just behind Kawhai and the Clippers, so this idea that the Sixers are actually a good team right now isn't really far fetched.

Jazz are better than Sixers. At least they didn’t have to tank for 5 years to get a decent team. How are those mountains and National Parks in Philly?
